Seville and its metropolitan area, the fourth largest metropolis in Spain and one of the country’s leading economies, is a benchmark in sustainable urban transformation processes, an ecosystem of innovation and knowledge, and a geostrategic location between the Atlantic and Mediterranean arcs.
Sevilla City One, Metropolis of Southern Europe, is an ambitious public-private initiative for the promotion of Seville and its metropolitan area as a preferred investment destination, and aims to respond and become a benchmark for the most efficient urban growth, in line with the commitment of the capital of Seville to a clear commitment to achieve the objective of climate neutrality by 2030.
It has the collaboration of Seville City Council, Seville Provincial Council and the Andalusian Regional Government, as well as the main business organisations, the Chamber of Commerce, CES and GAESCO, and professional associations.
In its last edition, it brought together more than 450 participants in the 2nd International Conference Seville City One, Metropolis of the South, consolidating this initiative as a solid platform for the promotion and modernisation of the city and its metropolitan area as a prime destination for investment, thanks to its great potential as a modern and innovative city.
