The Seville Press Association today signed a collaboration agreement with Seville City One, Metropolis of Southern Europe. In this agreement, both parties undertake to provide the best possible support for the dissemination and successful completion of the activities organised by the association, whose main objective is to promote the city of Seville and its metropolitan area as a destination for investment, linked to urban development with practices that contribute to the development of solutions for a more sustainable metropolis.
Rafael Rodríguez Guerrero, President of the Seville Press Association, points out that ‘journalism and journalists, as the essential public service that we are, must support and participate in initiatives such as Sevilla City One, which are committed to the integral and sustainable development of Seville, to make it a city to live in and for the people’.
Pedro Salvador Albiñana, president of Sevilla City One, wished to emphasise ‘the importance of this collaboration agreement for us, because communication and the work of journalism are crucial to giving a voice to Seville and its citizens, both within and beyond our borders’.
