The Minister of Development, Articulation of the Territory and Housing in Seville, Marifrán Carazo, says that “Sevilla City One is a great opportunity to publicize the transformation process that Seville and its metropolitan area are undergoing in industrial, logistical and residential matters”. “These opportunities will come hand in hand with the development of measures aimed at improving mobility and making it more sustainable, such as those that are being implemented by the Ministry of Development and that will have a strong boost thanks to the budget project of the Board for the next year”, she said.
“Examples of this commitment of the Board is the digitization of public transport, with initiatives such as the new transport card for all of Andalusia. This will allow travelling on all public transport and that in Seville is due to come on stream, by the first semester of 2023”.
Carazó highlighted “the development of infrastructures such as the BUS-VAO reserved platforms; the progress in the works of the Alcalá tramway or the Metro; the new Urban Planning law, the LIST, which facilitates the processing of urban plans; or the Plan Vive en Andalucía, a plan that has been the main vehicle for the shift given to housing policy by this new Andalusian Government, and that only in the province of Seville, thanks to this program, subsidies have been granted for 815 homes”.
