Seville will host the 8th Social Housing Conference on February 25 and 26, to be held at Hogar Virgen de los Reyes under the theme “Innovating to Live”, consolidating its position as a leading forum for analysis and debate on the main challenges of social and affordable housing.
Over two days, institutional representatives, experts, and professionals from the field of architecture will address key issues such as public-private collaboration and the need for a change in the production model capable of responding more quickly, with higher quality and at greater scale, to current challenges.
Among the participants will be Sevilla City One partner Lagoom Living. Its CEO, Javier Braza, will speak on February 25 in the first round table, “National and European strategic frameworks for housing and land”, together with representatives from the Regional Government of Andalusia, the Seville City Council, and sector specialists to discuss public-private collaboration as a key tool to promote affordable housing.
The second day will include participation from professional organizations in the field of architecture. In “Table 8: Affordable housing production in the face of a change in model”, Nuria Canivell, Dean of the Seville Association of Architects, and Helena Ruiz Fernández, President of the Official Association of Technical Architecture of Seville — both strategic partners of Sevilla City One — will take part.
The conference, organized by Emvisesa and the Seville City Council, is free and open to the public, subject to prior registration until full capacity is reached. The full programme can be consulted through the link provided by the organizers.
