A centrally located hotel in Seville served as the venue for the final event of the 1st International Conference of Seville City One, Metropolis of Southern Europe, which brought together around 600 companies and organisations.
The Querencia Sevilla, the recently opened luxury hotel in the centre of Seville, served as the final venue for the CEOs, presidents and representatives of the different companies that attended the 1st International Conference Seville City One, Metropolis of Southern Europe, to meet, take stock and network. Journalists from various national and international media were also present on the hotel’s large terrace, overlooking Seville’s Cathedral and historic centre.

The historic building served as an ideal space to showcase some of the potential of Seville and its metropolitan area, with a mix of tradition, culture, modernity and international projection that captured the attention of those attending the dinner.

Seville, one of the most important tourist destinations

The director of the Hotel Querencia de Sevilla, Fernando Sánchez, stated that “Seville, in the south of Spain, is one of the main tourist destinations in the country. The first edition of the conference Seville City One, Metropolis of Southern Europe, was held in Fibes – Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones Sevilla, and counted with the organisation of different thematic tables, which dealt with: “The Investment Opportunity in Seville and its Metropolis”; “Strategic Planning of Seville in the Horizon 2030”; “Seville. The Road to climate neutrality”; “Successful experiences in sustainable transformation processes”; “Responsible financing in urban transformation processes”; “Seville, metropolis of the south, as an investment destination” and “Andalusia, land of opportunities”.

The initiative has attracted the interest of several investment funds from Holland, Belgium, the United Kingdom, France, Poland, Canada, the Middle East and Korea, including Primevest Capital Partners, Euronuclear, Viviglobe, M7 Real Estate, Panattoni, Mutual Development of Municipalities Fund, EK Holding, Moonbase Capital, among others, as well as other Spanish funds such as Grupo Lar, Merlin Properties and Coral Homes.
