Sevilla City One proudly celebrates the recognitions awarded to two members of its Board of Directors—and founding partners of the initiative—at the 12th Andalucía Real Estate Awards, presented yesterday, November 5, at the headquarters of the Confederation of Business Owners of Andalusia (CEA). The ceremony was held as part of the celebration of the 26th anniversary of the prestigious publication Andalucía Inmobiliaria, which also granted a special mention to Grupo Insur, another partner of the initiative.
Among the award winners, two figures closely linked to our association stand out:
– José Ignacio Fernández de Jódar, Regional Director of AEDAS Homes for Andalusia and the Canary Islands and spokesperson for Sevilla City One, honored with the 2025 Outstanding Professional Career Award.
– Metrovacesa, recognized as Outstanding Company for its Commitment to Andalusia 2025, an award collected by Antonio Gil Ramírez, also spokesperson for Sevilla City One.
From Sevilla City One, we would like to express our sincere congratulations and deep pride in these recognitions, which reflect the talent, strategic vision and commitment to the sustainable development of Seville and Andalusia shown by our members. These awards highlight the essential role played by the professionals and companies linked to our initiative in consolidating Seville as a strategic investment hub and a business attraction pole in southern Europe.
In the words of José Ignacio Fernández de Jódar:
“Recognitions of a professional career are not something one achieves alone. They are recognitions of teams. One is only as good as their team, and I have been fortunate to work with many of the best: architects, quantity surveyors, engineers, magazine editors, business organizations, institutions… they are the ones who truly make up a team. Beyond major brands, there are people.”
During the ceremony, other highly relevant projects and entities were also recognized. These included the rehabilitation project of the Castle of Santiago as a singular example, the cultural and artistic project of the Royal Shipyards (Reales Atarazanas), and the innovative Lagoom Living project alongside the development of the SUP-T8 University District area. In addition, the city of Seville was awarded in the 21st Century City category, and a special mention was given to Insur, another driving company behind Sevilla City One, on the occasion of its 80th anniversary.
The Andalucía Real Estate Awards aim to recognize individuals, companies, institutions and projects that have stood out throughout the year or over the course of their careers for their support and contribution to boosting real estate and construction activity in the region. The jury is made up of professionals from diverse backgrounds, including architects, engineers, consultants, economists, lawyers, representatives of academic institutions and sector experts, providing an open and plural perspective.
