The Seville-based consultancy Grupo Argenia has joined the strategic alliance Sevilla City One, Metropolis of Southern Europe, with the aim of promoting an urban model based on sustainability and integration, strengthening the city’s European leadership in this field.
The company, founded in Seville with a presence in Spain and Latin America, as well as in various countries across Europe and the Middle East, joins the initiative with the intention of contributing its technical and strategic expertise in the design and management of building and urban development projects that incorporate sustainability criteria, energy efficiency, technological innovation, and social well-being. The company that its participation will strengthen the collaborative dialogue and dynamics promoted by Sevilla City One, helping to translate the vision of a more resilient, competitive, and inclusive city into concrete actions and impactful projects.

A roadmap shaped by sustainability
With a track record of more than 20 years marked by innovation and sustainability, the firm is involved in flagship projects such as the new headquarters of the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Seville—an ambitious project designed to be a milestone in sustainability, achieve nearly zero net emissions, and position itself as a global benchmark in responsible architecture.
The consultancy has also participated in industrial projects linked to the green sector, such as the Rioglass Solar plant in Aznalcóllar, dedicated to components for concentrated solar power.
In the military and defense sector, it has recently developed a project for a new fuel storage and distribution facility at the Rota Naval Base. Additionally, for more than three years it has been providing support to the backfill department of the mining company Sandfire MATSA, located in the Iberian Pyrite Belt (Huelva).
This is complemented by other significant projects in the city, such as the new City of Justice of Seville and the structural and installations site management for the renovation of the Archaeological Museum of Seville, in collaboration with the architecture studio Vázquez Consuegra.
