The Regional Government of Andalusia has issued the conclusions of the Participatory Workshop held to advance the review of the Seville Metropolitan Area Transport Plan. The meeting brought together public administrations, transport operators, socio-economic stakeholders and citizens. Among the participating groups, Sevilla City One stood out through its involvement as part of the civic and associative sector.

Citizen contributions highlighted the need for a more sustainable and better-coordinated mobility model at the metropolitan scale, with improvements in intermodality, a reduction in private vehicle use, the promotion of active mobility, and the creation of a Metropolitan Transport Authority with real decision-making powers.

Participants identified key challenges such as insufficient public transport, increasing congestion, and the lack of integration between transport modes and municipalities. Among the main needs identified were greater investment in infrastructure, system digitalization, and the guarantee of equitable services across the entire territory.

Authorities thanked participants for their involvement and reaffirmed their commitment to incorporating these conclusions—including those put forward by Sevilla City One—into the next phases of the Plan.
